Ileos Names New CEO

Philippe Gelbat will take over the role previously held by Noël Ancian.

Ileos, a French supplier of packaging to the fragrance, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries, has announced that Noël Ancian has requested to concentrate solely on his role as chairman of Financiere Vivaldi, the holding company of the Ileos Group, as he joins the Board of Directors of Nord Est. In this position, he will participate in defining the group strategy. However, consequently, he leaves the position of CEO of Ileos.

Philippe Gelblat will take over from Ancian as CEO of Ileos to manage the operations of the Group, relying on the general managers of the four subsidiaries, Ludovic Anceau (Socoplan), Robert Bapt (Axilone), Philippe Declerck (Packetis) and Stéphane François (Alliora).

Ileos is headquartered in Nanterre Cedex, France, and has 3000 employees. The company’s subsidiaries Alliora, Axilone, Socoplan/Biopack, Packetis generated a turnover of 249 million euros in 2009.
